Sydney Food and Wine Fair 2008

It was a cloudy day and the sky looked like it was going to burst out in rain any second, but I couldn't pass up the annual Sydney Food and Wine Fair

I'd bypassed all the other Good Food Month's events, but I wasn't missing this one!

Being a greedy guts... I didn't want to miss out, so I let my stomach rule over my mind- purchasing first and thinking about it later (hence the dessert items first)

Bill's Lime and passionfruit tart with cream- tangy, creamy and delicious

The selection from the Tea Room which included an egg sandwich, pastry, lemon meringue tart, and some cakes, this was OK, but doesn't compare to their High Tea, I would give it a miss next time to save room for other things!

Ocean Trout from the Cafe Sydney stand- this was my favourite! It was seriously good- melt in the mouth ocean trout, crispy skin on a bed of Waldorf salad


Wrestling through the crowds of food lovers, it got busier and busier as we went on!


Bavarian Bier Cafe's offering- yum!



The Vogue stand's offering- grilled and smoked salmon- this was good as well, but after Cafe Sydney's one... it couldn't compare!

Bye bye Food and Wine Fair, until next year!
