Book giveaway

I have the following trio of books up for grabs due to my last minute de-cluttering. All in brand new condition. Yes, I have a bad habit of spending it up at Borders and then not even touching or finishing the book.

Just leave a comment on the post telling me why you want them!

*Open to anyone in the Asia Pacific, Australia, USA & Canada.
*You have until 11:30pm (Australian EST time) on Sunday 10th January to leave a comment.

Good luck!

On another note, I had a whole heap of photos from lunch the other day at Milk and Honey that decided to stuff up when I uploaded them (with a little help on my part since I opted to delete the originals from the phone before it had the error) so I lost all my photos. Argh!!! So frustrating.

Last day of work today, and I left early. Sad times, but awesome because it's the start of my week (plus a little bit more) off! YAY!

Where the Sea takes us sounds interesting, its always intriguing to read about your own peoples and what they went through back in the days!

I am like you missklicious, I walk into Borders or anyother bookshop, Ebay you name it, and Im in there buying another book. All three books you are generously 'gifting foreward' look interesting, I think I might be leaning a little more toward 'Where the sea takes us' or/and 'Unpolished Gem' by Alice Pung, though as really interesting books to read

Unpolished Gem interests me as Ive heard a lot about Alice Pung's "best-selling memoir". I'd love to get lost in this fascinating book. What a generous giveaway :)
PS I love the gorgeous vintagey design of your blog (and on an unrelated note, I buy tons of make-up too - but too much make-up is never enough!).

The Gangland War looks the most interesting, it would be interesting to read them.

I love memoir-style novels where you get an insight into how other families live and their personal history, so 'Where the Sea Takes Us' sounds fascinating. Underbelly was one of those things where I had good intentions to watch every week and kept forgetting. Then I'd watch the odd episode and have no idea who anyone was anymore. My partner's also a bit of a crime buff so I know we would both enjoy reading 'The Gangland War'. Finally, I'm on holidays from uni and have been since late November, so I've had all the housework and Facebook I can take, I need some new books! Consider it a charitable donation to save my mental health :P

I love books, if you look at my bookshelfs you will definitely see that. I would love to add these books to my collection, first on my bedside table until I'm finished reading it.

Thanks for the opportunity to enter this competition.

The Gangland War should make for interesting reading, as books always portray things more vividly & in more detail than their screen counterparts...or is it just my enormous imagination going into overtime when a book completely absorbs me!?

I love to read, but i tend to keep to the same kind of books, if i won one of these books it would definitely open my mind to other books and broaden my horizon!

I've just finished Infidel (great read), so am hungrily searching for another book to read, your generous offer is just the thing. The whole 3 sound like good reads, insightful and gritty. Thanks missklicious!!

Books of hardship and of strife
Makes me reflect, feeling grateful for my own life.

Not much inclination for me to read but my husband being an immigrant himself would love to read the book 'Unpolished Gem'. He's my gem.

Unpolished Gem was one of my favourite books last year. You really should read it!

I would give them a good home, and I don't often get the opportunity to spend it up at borders!
