Bridge to Bridge - For a life without Lupus

Something a bit too close to my heart.


Erin-Louise Povey will pledge her strength, courage and commitment and take thatstep to fight against lupus in an Australian first to walk from Brisbane to Sydney dressed as an orange butterfly.
With the support of the Lupus Association of NSW Inc, Erin-Louise will walk approximately half of the 1000km trip, starting withthe Story Bridge climb in Brisbane on Sunday, May 9 2010 ahead of World Lupus Day on May 10th. Erin-Louise's journey will culminate with her Sydney Harbour Bridge climb on Sunday, June 13 2010.

Erin-Louise Povey is just 26 years old and is living with lupus. Lupus is a chronic incurable auto-immune disease that affects 5 million people worldwide. There is no known cause and consequently no known cure. More People are living with Lupus then Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS, Sickle Cell Anaemia and Cystic Fibrosis COMBINED!
