Powerhouse Museum - Ultimo, Sydney

The Powerhouse Museum is a great way to pass a few hours when the weather is not so great for wandering around the city aimlessly. That and a 2-for-1 voucher was too good to resist.

Groovy Back in the 80's exhibition:

80's memorabilia everywhere - hilarious, they even had soapie mags from the 80's with pics of when Neighbours first started, and pics of Kylie and Jason

They had old school computers scattered all over the joint

I thought this was pretty funny - a "power suit" see explanation below

Giant Rubix cube!

How nice is this cash register?

Old school camera - did anyone who did photography classes (in high school) remember the pin hole camera you can make out of a box? This looks like a fancy version of one! hehe

Cute retro robots

I'm fascinated with stars and the planets, and think it's so amazingly beautiful - so I loved taking in all these photos in this exhibition about the universe:

I could stare at these photographs all day, they are breath taking!

i laughed a little when i read the "power suit" LOL love the description.

and it's always interesting to see how technology has advanced. Look at that old computer! wow...today, we have something like the ipad that is like..literally a flat board and touch screen..pretty crazy.
