This post makes me hungry just thinking about it. I love Macau style Portuguese food. We always seem to end up at Man Lei Cheong Seng each time we visit Macau.
The restaurant has a Coca Cola theme and the cabinets are filled with a variety of limited edition coke cans and memorabilia.
More of the Coke theme in the form of a mural with Macau's famous St Paul's Ruins
The aromas wafting from the dishes other tables are being served only increases my anticipation for the feast to come. And then our food arrives.
San choy bow
Not a Portuguese dish, but still tasty nonetheless!
Fried rice - A welcome addition to the mix as it works well to soak up the delicious sauces from the following dishes:
Baked cod in a tomato based sauce - with loads of capsicum and potato
This is my favourite dish out of the lot - can't go wrong with tasty, smokey ribs!
Pork knuckle - Tasty, but I'm not a fan of food that looks too much like it's original animal part...
And another favourite dish - Portuguese chicken, can't go wrong with smooth, creamy sauce and tender pieces of chicken and veges
I couldn't really find much info about this restaurant on the web but know that it can get quite busy on the weekends. We went on a week night and it wasn't too packed (thank goodness!)
