Cream Cafe & Bar (2) - Civic, Canberra

Cream is a goodie in the North Quarter strip of restaurants, and I've blogged about it before here.  It's definitely one of my default brunch/lunch places for a day of shopping in Civic.

Mango magic - mango, banana, mango nectar and coconut milk, a refreshing summery frappe/smoothie

Yuk Sung - Cream's twist on san choy bau with wok fried chicken, hoi sin sauce, sage, pine nuts + cos lettuce and crispy fried rice noodles

This might sound like a weird twisted version of the original, but it's actually really tasty!

Sundays aren't complete without a late breakfast item, this one is the Blini - potato and shallot blini + baby spinach, smoked salmon and hollandaise, with extra chorizo

Top Deck Belgian hot chocolate - a mix of milk and white chocolate, so heavenly!

King Prawns - tossed through with garlic and chilli served with a wild pilaf rice - very nice, loved the rice, with a blend of black sticky rice through it, very moreish

Calamari - lightly spiced on a green papaya salad with mango lime relish

I'm loving the seafood skew here! I seem to gravitate towards it on a menu :D

I find that seafood tends to be a safe choice - it's almost always nice! (And light!)
