Miss Marples Tea Room - Mount Dandenong, Victoria

First day of Melbourne trip and the destination road trip for the day was Mount Dandenong, and more specifically the renowed Miss Marples Tea Room!

Excited to be trying out their famous scones

They had a Christmas in July thing going on

Christmas in July menu

It was packed for a weekday - we actually had to put our names down and come back 15 minutes later for a table, which was fine because there's so many great shops within walking distance (more about those later!)

Oh hai - eager for food!

And here it comes...

Yummy beef cottage pie - perfect comfort food

Miss Marple's famous fingers - fresh chicken, cheese and pineapple - these remind me of when I used to make open toasties under the grill.. mmm cheese

And the grand finale - Devonshire scones, one fruit and one plain, these were amazing!! Warm, fluffy and light - definitely not your average scones.

Home-made raspberry jam and freshly whipped cream made them even better - best jam ever

382 Mount Dandenong Tourist Road
Sassafras VIC 3787
Open from 11:00am-4:30pm
No bookings taken
