Wow, October sure has come around quickly! October means one thing, Crave Sydney International Food Festival, and that only means one thing - SUGAR HITS!
First up is Cafe Ish:
Cafe Ish had a 'create your own dessert' which was very cool! These are the tools for creating your very own masterpiece.
This dessert came with a choice of the Brown Brothers dessert wine or umeshu
Time to create - cute palette with all the ingredients
The palette included jellies, meringue, various sauces such as lemon curd, red bean, chocolate, raspberry, and a few different biscuits + the wattleseed macadamia ice-cream

It was so much fun!!
Next up is Azuma at the Kushiyaki Bar & Grill:
I really enjoyed this year's offering at Azuma, it was way better than last year.
Being sick means choosing the green tea option instead of delicious dessert wine :(
I really enjoyed everything offered in this Sugar Hit - especially the yuzu sake! Wish there was more.
Yuzu saked, sake sponge bits, handcrafted chocolate, and green tea tiramisu
Homemade white sesame ice cream & assorted seasonal fruits with tapioca pearls, rice dumplings covered in Kinako powder served with brown sugar syrup
