High I spent around 5 days in Macau during my recent overseas trip, and it was mainly spent catching up with family. On one of the days, I did manage to check out one of the newish casinos - Galaxy.

I walked past Hotel Okura - a Japanese style hotel that is part of the casino, and spotted a Japanese high tea set, and of course made a beeline for it.
They also had afternoon cake specials, but I only had eyes for the set...

L-R: Serradurra in a cup which apparently translates to 'sawdust pudding', basically crushed biscuits layered in between some kind of cream; Smoked salmon and salmon roe sandwich; Portuguese tart; Scone with cream; the one in the green packet was plum jelly

Seasonal wagashi served in a cute Japanese lacquered box - this included two chocolates, a pink macaron and some choc-chip biscuits
