Single Origin - Surry Hills, Sydney

The best thing about working near Surry Hills is definitely the endless lunch options.

Single Origin roast their responsibly sourced, seriously good coffee in house, Miss V and I decide to go for lunch one day, as we work minutes away from the cafe.

Their coffee has rave reviews and I can see why - my latte is very smooth.

Coffee braised beef short ribs with potato salad and beetroot horseradish salsa

I tried a bit of this dish, and it was absolutely delicious, especially with the addition of the sticky sauce and moreish potato salad.

Fish supper - market fish, mushy peas, lemony potato crisps and herb sauce

I love how their dishes are so simple, but they still manage to make it look spectacular.

We also shared this toasted warm banana bread with toasted coffee butter for 'dessert' - it was heavenly!
