The Choc Pot - Burwood, Sydney

I never say no to dessert, and I was very excited to check out the new chocolate dessert bar in Burwood, after receiving an invite from Deidre at The Choc Pot

The Choc Pot offer tempting chocolate desserts made fresh on-site from quality ingredients such as Callebaut chocolate, free range eggs and unrefined caster sugar.

The store is a bright and fun space, tucked away from the busy main strip of Burwood. The menu has an array of tasty chocolate desserts and drinks, it's hard to decide what to choose!

Sweet treats at the counter

Drinks

Tropical smoothie

Soursop tea

Love the cute clear tea cup and saucer. This tea was recommended by Deidre to pair with my dessert. Love how they have the tea suggestions up on the blackboard too. The Choc Pot use Adore tea, and initially I wasn't sure what to expect, being unfamiliar with soursop, but it was really lovely. Keen to add this to my tea rotation!

White chocolate pannacotta splice

A refreshing, tropical dessert. The white chocolate pannacotta came with a pouring jug of delicious pineapple and mint granita.

This went down a treat with the sweet and tangy soursop tea

Strawberry chocolate waffles with ice cream

The boy opted for the waffles, and I was a little envious - crisp and warm waffle, layered with strawberries and generously covered with chocolate. Don't forget the side of ice cream! Decadent.

Overall, a great dessert option for those living around Burwood. I'm keen to go back and try the chocolate souffle and other items, wish there was something like this in the city! (though it's probably best for the waistline that there's not)
