Red Pepper - Strathfield, Sydney

Who would have thought that one of the best korean fried chicken could be found in a sports club? I guess it's not that much of a surprise since it is located in Strathfield, Sydney's korean suburb.

Miss J is in town, and it's a KFC group catch up on this particular night. Service is RSL style, go up to the counter to order and pay, though from memory the waiter did take our order from our table. The focus is on the fried chicken, so we get a few kinds of the most appealing fried chicken dishes on the menu.

Soy sauce

Korean fried chicken

Spring onion

Chilli

Banchan

My favourite would probably have to be the basic korean fried chicken - so crisp and tasty! I quite liked the chilli version too, but it got a bit spicy to handle after a few bites. A casual little place to swing by for a KFC fix - wish I had more excuses to go to Strathfield ;)

This is a short & sweet post, I'll be flying off to Hong Kong tomorrow - hope everyone has an awesome Christmas and new year break!
