Small Bar - Crows Nest, Sydney

Good things come in small packages. Case in point - Small bar is a lovely local bar located on Willoughby Road in Crows Nest. It's the perfect spot for a catch up and a bite to eat, and even though it's mid-week on the north shore, the place is full and buzzing.

The menu items are good company to a decent wine list.

The area out the back, which has a nice outdoor feel with the fairy lights, whilst being protected whatever the weather.

We grab a couple of glasses of wine, and pick a few plates.

Quinoa salad with pumpkin & feta

This was a lovely little salad to pick at whilst having a chat and downing the wine. The creamy chunks of feta and pumpkin were a highlight.

Zucchini fries

These were crisp and moreish, a perfect snack for drinks, without as much guilt as having regular chips!

Overall, a nice little bar to catch up with a friend and grab a bite to eat.

Zucchini fries are amazing! My mother makes these from scratch--basic recipe to make schnitzels just applied to zucchini.
