Pop up patisserie @ Brewtown Newtown - Newtown, Sydney

Is there anything more glorious than entering a cafe and seeing rows upon rows of glorious pastries? I think not, so ventured over early to Brewtown Newtown when I heard they were opening their pop-up patisserie again. 

On the menu were a multitude of cruffins (a hybrid croissant muffin) and a range of other tempting pastries.

Pineapple and coconut Brewnut

Love anything tropical flavoured, especially when it involves coconut! 

Ispahan danish

The extremely pretty and ever-popular combination of rose, raspberry and lychee

Orange and poppyseed danish

Nutella Cruffin

Studded with hazelnuts and with a decadent nutella filling. The cruffin was lovely and flaky, and really just reminded me of a round croissant. 

It was hard to pick a favourite as they were all pretty good. I would probably have to say either the Ispahan danish, as I love the fruity combination of lychees and raspberries, or the Nutella Cruffin, as nothing beats a generous slathering of nutella! 

In the blink of an eye, it's almost the end for 2014... Happy new year everyone! Hope 2015 is even bigger and better, filled with lots of adventures, fabulous company and delicious food!

They introduced it after I visited Brewtown :) But that just means another visit is in order!
