All this rainy weather we've been having lately only means one thing - it's ramen time!
Ramen O-San is a relatively new addition to the Sydney ramen scene. Chef O-San has won the "Top 3 ramen" award in Kyushu, Japan and his signature dish is the Tonkotsu ramen.
Ramen O-San opened in the Dixon Street Food Court in February. The setting is no frills, located in the crowded Chinatown food court.
Original Kyushu style Tonkotsu ramen
I enjoyed the soup at Ramen O-San very much - flavoursome and rich, but not too thick. I could actually finish the bowl of noodles by myself as it wasn't too heavy. The noodles were cooked perfectly.
Pork & Dashi Soy ramen
The broth for this ramen is made out of fish and chicken, which makes it a lighter soup, but still packed with flavour.
