Sadhana - Enmore, Sydney

Sadhana Kitchen is all about organic and raw wholefoods. Everything here is vegan and also dairy, gluten and refined sugar free. It's a popular spot for a weekend lunch - we arrive for a late lunch at 2pm on a Saturday, and had a small wait for a table.

It's a cosy cafe with lots of little rustic touches. I spot quite a few people digging into a delicious looking high tea (which I'm popping on my list to try out!)

Mocha

Since the cafe is dairy free, all their coffees are made with soy milk as the default, and you can choose to have it with coconut or almond milk for an additional 50 cents.

Carrot and walnut falafel plate

The carrot and walnut falafels are served with seasonal greens and house made mustard dressing, sundried tomato and paprika hummus + beet dip. This is one tasty salad and such a generous serving. The falafels are on the dry side when eaten by themselves, but perfect when slathered with the hummus and beet dip.

Sadhana lasagne

Zucchini pasta, with cashew cheese, basil pesto, walnut mince, wilted spinach and a chunky tomato sauce. Sadhana's version of a lasagne is similar to the original as in it has layers, a creamy sauce, tomato sauce, and 'mince', though it's quite different taste wise. I was intrigued with how meat-like the walnut mince tasted.

Dessert menu

Sadhana Kitchen has an array of tempting vegan cakes in the cabinet, and a menu full of Cocowhip (coconut soft serve) sundaes.

Maca heart sundae

Served with a pretty maca filled heart, and freeze dried raspberry crumble.

A lovely spot for nutritious and healthy meals, plus a guilt free indulgence (or two!)
